RESIDENTIAL PROGRAMS & SERVICES
The Bea Fisher Centre Inc. offers a wide range of living arrangements in homes and apartments with varying degrees of staff support. Staff support is provided based on the needs of the client. In some cases this is provided through the 24 hour period, while more independent clients may require only 1 - 2 hours per week.
The community of Lloydminster is unique in that it is the only border city in Canada. Given that fact, clients moving and living in Lloydminster can choose which province to live in, Alberta or Saskatchewan. What you must realize is that personal funding, AISH (Assured Income for Severely Handicapped) Alberta, and SAP (Saskatchewan Assistance Plan) Saskatchewan, changes if you move from one province to another. Careful planning must occur before deciding to make a move to either province. Contact the Client Services Coordinator or Social Worker in your area.
